The script for this life — we chose it ourselves, up there, before we came down.
Out of countless scripts, each one rich in its own way, we picked carefully and walked off with the one now playing out.
Some read like wish-fulfillment. Some read like tragedy. Some are quiet and plain.
Whichever one it is, we had good reasons when we made the choice.
We’ve lived many lives before. If the last one was smooth sailing, this one needs more hardship — that’s what moves us along the path faster.
There’s no harm in holding this view. I believe it’s most likely true.
Before I began this life, I already knew everything that would happen. So my job is to learn to accept it, and to bear it.
Everything is experience. Everything is training.
The soul doesn’t die. The script changes. I’m performing the one I chose for myself.
And because I chose it myself, no matter how bad the content gets, I’ll keep performing — because there’s no good or bad, only the attitude you bring to a life.
